SHRI DEBATOSH NATH
Shri Debatosh Nath is a leading dancer and choreographer in the classical Indian dance form of Kathak in Barak Valley. With extensive training under the eminent gurus of Kathak, Pt. Munna Shukla and Pt. Satish Shukla of Lucknow Gharana, Debatosh is today recognized for his artistry, technique, eloquence and contribution to the field of culture. His academic accomplishments are especially impressive in MA Bengali and MA History. Besides dancing and choreographing classical productions, both solo and group, he has also written textbooks on dance and composed many dance dramas for upholding the traditional folk culture of the North East.
